Bury Village Hall is an important community centre in the heart of the village. The hall was built in 1996 to serve the residents of Bury.
The hall is a comfortable, centrally heated, well-equipped venue which can accommodate up to 150 people at one time. The hall has a kitchen, enclosed patio area with canopy and the flooring is wood laminate plus we have a large screen audio-visual system. A bar is available which is run by the local publican. We provide free of charge Wi-Fi connection for users of the hall. There are oblong and square tables and plenty of chairs.
The annexe, attached to the hall, with its own access includes a separate meeting room. This meeting room seats 10-12 people boardroom style and has an audio-visual system: a white board, display boards and flip chart are available for use.
Bury Village Hall has several regular weekday users, including beavers & cubs, carpet bowls, bridge, table tennis, pilates, yoga including adaptive yoga run by a cancer charity, and performing arts and dance for children. Also, regular monthly meetings of Ramsey Abbey W.I., parish council and senior citizens tea. It is available for hire for private functions such as family events including celebration parties, quizzes and wedding receptions. There is ample space for parking.
The village of Bury is located between Warboys and the market town of Ramsey on the B1040.
