]]> The Arkenstall Village Centre is a charity run by a Management Committee of Trustees for the benefit of the local community. Its aim is to provide high-standard facilities for local groups to meet in and to act as a focus for the village’s many social and recreational activities.

The Arkenstall Village Centre (charity number 300394) is located in Station Road in the heart of Haddenham, near Ely. Easily accessible from Cambridge (14 miles) and close to the A10, transport links are excellent.

There are three rooms including a main hall with a large stage and fully equipped kitchen available for hire to both local hirers and those from further afield. The Arkenstall Village Centre provides facilities for community groups, activities (art, dance and fitness classes), meetings, exhibitions, weddings and private parties.

]]> Bury Village Hall is an important community centre in the heart of the village. The hall was built in 1996 to serve the residents of Bury.

The hall is a comfortable, centrally heated, well equipped venue which can accommodate up to 150 people at one time. The hall has a kitchen, enclosed patio area with canopy and the flooring is wood laminate. We have recently refurbished the toilets and installed a large screen audio-visual system. A bar is available which is run by the local publican. We also have a PRS/PPL licence for music.

The annexe, attached to the hall, with its own access includes a separate meeting room. This meeting room seats 10-12 people boardroom style and has an audio-visual system: a white board, display boards and flip chart are available for use.

Bury Village Hall has several regular weekday users, including Beavers & Cubs, carpet bowls, bridge, table tennis clubs, rebound trampoline exercise, yoga and Pilates. It is available for hire for private functions such as celebration parties, quizzes and wedding receptions.

The village of Bury is located between Warboys and the market town of Ramsey on the B1040.

]]> Hemingford Pavilion, in the picturesque Hemingfords’ is a community sports and social club with charity status and is managed by volunteers. A peaceful location, the Pavilion is surrounded by a large sports field, bowls green and tennis courts.

It offers the ideal venue for weekend celebration parties with private well stocked bar and is also suitable for daytime children’s parties. The venue is also suitable for conferences for small and larger groups with audio-visual equipment included. Refreshments are served in the comfortable upstairs lounge (or balconies in summer). Light lunches also available. Wake/funeral reception packages are available with a staffed bar and refreshments if required (or you can self cater). There are some slots available for weekly classes or clubs.

Conveniently located at the heart of the village of Oakington, close to the A14, and bus and guided bus routes; the attractive airy modern facilities comprise a large community hall, an additional separate meeting/function room which is an excellent space for meetings and training sessions, a well-equipped kitchen and car park. There is level access throughout, with accessible toilet and hearing loop, plus fast free wi-fi, ensuring that all can enjoy the facilities.

Behind the Pavilion is a new 3G surface LED floodlit pitch (2024); open Monday to Sunday 9:30am to 9:30pm.

]]> Hemingford Grey Reading Room is a charming small hall (10.6 x 5.01 metres) with a high ceiling. Following Covid, a special ventilation system was installed. Along with the large main room with demountable tables and ample chairs for 60+ people, there are male and female / disabled WCs, plus a small, well-equipped kitchen. The hall has wi-fi and two pull down screens for illustrated talks. The hall is heated by electric radiators and is in good condition. We do not have any on-site car parking but hirers are able to park on the High Street.
