										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>At our town centre premises at 83a High Street, we have 2 large downstairs rooms and 4 smaller upstairs rooms available for hire. </p>
<p>The downstairs rooms are very flexible in layout. The larger room measures 10x8m, with a hard floor and 80 soft upright chairs, and can be arranged to suit most activities from parties to conferences. A projector is available. The smaller room, 8&#215;5.8m, is carpeted and has sofas and soft chairs, a TV and whiteboard. It is ideal for a more intimate setting for up to 25 people. </p>
<p>Upstairs, we have 3 attractively furnished rooms which suit one-to-one counselling or mentoring, but can take up to 5 people comfortably. There is also a meeting room with a circular table which seats up to 6. Rooms are available for hire during the working week, with evenings and weekends by arrangement. </p>
<p>A kitchen is available with twin oven, microwave, fridge and supply of crockery and cutlery. </p>
<p>Downstairs has disabled access throughout. Charity hire rates available. Regular bookings welcome. Contact admin@hccuk.org for further information.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Our historic hall is in the Cambridge countryside in the picturesque village of Great Eversden, Cambridge, which is approximately 7 miles south-west of Cambridge. There are good links to the A505, A11 and M11.</p>
<p>Inside the hall it is spacious and light with a high ceiling, balcony area, and a stage which you can decorate as you wish.</p>
<p>The Hall has capacity for 100 people. In dining format, the main hall can seat 80 people.</p>
<p>Hiring includes exclusive access to the building, and includes the use of our wi-fi, sound system with Bluetooth, tables, chairs, and our moveable bar. White crockery, glassware cutlery &amp; more is provided for up to 100 guest place-settings. We have white tablecloths you can hire.</p>
<p>We have 4 sets of indoor festoon lights, and a set of fairy lights that look pretty wrapped around the balcony rails (already in place in the hall). We have 3 sets of outdoor fairy lights you can use. Please note that the woodwork on the walls and the stage is now in a light cream colour that matches the walls and provides a better backdrop for your decor and photos.</p>
<p>The kitchen is commercial and includes a commercial dishwasher, a new range style cooker with induction hob, new microwave, large fridge, and a small freezer.</p>
<p>We have a premises licence which allows you to provide your own drinks, and set up your own non-paying bar facility with no corkage fee. If you want to sell alcohol, you will need prior agreement from us and you will need to apply for a Temporary Event Notice (we can help you with that).</p>
<p>We have a music licence until 12pm, meaning that you can book a band to play, or a DJ. Or you can choose to be your own DJ with your own playlist.</p>
<p>There are 30 parking spaces: 4 spaces suitable for disabled parking at the front of the Hall, 9 in the carpark, and 17 in the signposted overflow parking area (grassed area).</p>

  &#8211; A Community Library, open between 2.00 and 4.00pm weekdays and 10.00am to 2,00pm on Saturdays<br />
  &#8211; Four state of the art meeting rooms with secure digital communications, integrated screens and projectors all inclusive with room hire rates<br />
  &#8211; Meeting room clients can use the onsite catering facilities for in-room dining or alternatively eat in the Atrium restaurant. The restaurant is licensed to serve alcohol.<br />
  &#8211; Off site and takeaway catering is also welcomed. Free public car parking only 25m from the building.</p>
<p>The building has two disability parking spaces on site. Plentiful free parking is immediately opposite the Hub facility.</p>
<p>Melbourn Hub offers daily medical services operated in conjunction with local GP surgeries, together with frequent access to counselling (family, mental health, dementia, Citizens Advice etc).</p>
