The communal room and kitchenette are sought after for children parties, family gatherings and occasional funeral groups. The quiet setting has also proved suitable for training courses and group meetings. A rear door gives easy access for delivery, and also safe exit for children away from the road. The Hall
The main hall can comfortably seat 120 with the additional two rooms offering additional seating or room for a bar and a buffet. It also has a dancing capacity of 240 meaning that all of those distant relatives can have an invite! The hall also has a fully equipped professional kitchen with crockery, cutlery and glassware for 120 place settings.

The hall comes with free WiFi and internet access and a hearing loop. The hall has two disabled toilets, a shower and as the hall is all on one level, easy access via the entry ramps at the main door and side doors. There is ample parking for 40 cars at the hall, with another car park at the bottom of Mill Lane and also an overflow alternative should it be required.

Business Events
The variety and flexibility of the main hall and the two meeting rooms, mean that we can cater for all types of conferences, business meetings and training days. We aim to offer a relaxed, comfortable setting and can provide a variety of refreshments throughout the day. We have all the presentation and other business equipment here in the hall for you; projector, screen, flip charts, hearing loop, disabled access and facilities, free Wi-Fi and internet access. If you have any specific requirements we are always happy to see how we can help.

Special Occasions & Parties
The hall offers a lovely setting for a wedding reception, particularly in the summer when the marquee can be used to extend the event outside. We have happily catered for weddings of up to 120 reception guests and 200+ in the evening. We are also able to offer to dress the hall using white drapes.

The hall offers a great location for children’s parties and a reduced party hire rate on Saturday’s from 1 – 4pm of £60 offers great value. Other times are available but at the normal hourly rate.

Other activities
The hall is home to the local football and cricket teams with both the junior and senior teams using it as their base. Indoor dance and acro classes as well as tennis for tots is available for children and badminton, Pilates, HIIT, fitness for the over 50’s for the adults. You can take part in French Lessons and other community events are also held in the hall.

The hall has a marquee which can be hired out for a small cost or is available FOC for any community event in the village.

Non-local visitors park on roads around without difficulty. One or two vehicles can be parked at the centre and there is a ramp for easy access. There is a cycle rack for several bikes. There are toilets at the front and back and the disabled toilets are spacious and suitable for changing.

The coffee shop (referred to as Meeting Room 1 in this listing) is only available outside of its opening hours which are 10am – 2pm, Tuesdays to Saturdays and 10am – 4.30pm on Mondays.
