The hall has been used for various regular activities over the years including meetings, craft fairs, clothing swaps, boxing clubs, dance classes, weight loss meetings, as a pre-school and for exercises classes. It is also a lovely venue for small parties such as baby showers, receptions following christening/baptisms/baby naming ceremonies and children’s birthday parties.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The  modern and stylish hall at Castle Camps was part-funded by the National Lottery and built in 2001. There is a large hall with a curtained stage at one end and a large kitchen and servery at the other, plus a smaller meeting room with a bar. It is the venue for most village activities and is ideal for wedding receptions, birthday parties and celebrations etc. It is well equipped  with a range of lightweight tables and upholstered chairs.</p>
<p>All bookings must have a &#8220;designated responsible person&#8221; who is over 21 years of age. Teenage parties must be booked by parents.</p>
<p>The premises licensee can oversee a bar if one is needed (when available and to be negotiated separately) otherwise a Temporary Events Notice (TEN) will be required and we have 12 available per year.</p>
<p>No animal based functions allowed (but guide dogs are permitted).</p>

<p>The Hall is available for hire all year round to both regular groups and also one-off hires for meetings, wedding receptions, parties, dances, exhibitions and events. The main hall is approx 18m x 8m with a solid maple floor and a stage whilst the Large Committee room is approx 9m x 6m. Tables and chairs are available and the kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave and double oven is shared by all users. We also have an audio system in the main hall which accepts bluetooth connections, a noise limiter system and projector screen in both rooms.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Huntingdon WI Centre is available to hire! We have two rooms available to hire, the main hall and the committee room, both including shared access to the kitchen and facilities. There is plenty of free on-site car parking available.</p>
<p>The main hall is a large, open room with direct access to the kitchen and a serving hatch. Large windows provide plenty of natural day light. Ideal for large groups or gatherings. Maximum capacity is 80 seated theatre style, 60 cabaret style and 40 boardroom style. The approximate size of this room is: 33ft x 22ft.</p>
<p>The committee room may be a better choice for smaller groups and gatherings. Maximum capacity is 30 seated theatre style, 25 cabaret style and 15 boardroom style. The approximate size of this room is: 22.5ft x 15ft.</p>
<p>Tables and chairs available for use in both rooms. One flipchart board available. Both rooms have shared access to the kitchen. The kitchen includes a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, hot water urn, kettles, crockery and cutlery. Accessible toilet on site. Plenty of free on-site car parking available.</p>
<p>Our office hours are 9am-1pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Hiring outside of these times will be subject to the keyholder fee. No availability: Thursday term-time (7.15pm – 10pm). We do not accept bookings for birthday parties.</p>

<p>There are a range of rooms available to hire or the whole building can be hired if needed. We have chairs and tables available for users. There are some kitchen facilities which are made available to hirers or their appointed external caterers.</p>
<p>As a registered charity our objectives relate to children and young people, therefore there are special prices for groups or events aimed at these target groups.</p>
<p>There is some free parking on the road immediately outside the Hall, and further free parking at the Pavilion car park (about 50m away).</p>
