The Coneygear Centre sits in the heart of Huntingdon and on Coneygear Park. The centre is fully accessible and benefits from a large hall, lobby, 2 kitchens, meeting room, library and changing rooms. There is ample free parking at the centre. The hall is ideal for large social gatherings of a weekend. The hall and meeting room both have a projector and screen. There is a sound system in the hall. All areas can be hired together or separately. There is a bus stop outside the centre.

Owen Pooley Hall

The Owen Pooley Hall is a nice, bright and airy room available to hire for various activities. A Grade II listed building situated on Main Street; with plenty of on-site parking it make a striking first impression. The hall has been used for various regular activities over the years including meetings, craft fairs, clothing swaps, boxing clubs, dance classes, weight loss meetings, as a pre-school and for exercises classes. It is also a lovely venue for small parties such as baby showers, receptions following christening/baptisms/baby naming ceremonies and children’s birthday parties.

Castle Camps Village Hall

The modern and stylish hall at Castle Camps was part-funded by the National Lottery and built in 2001. There is a large hall with a curtained stage at one end and a large kitchen and servery at the other, plus a smaller meeting room with a bar. It is the venue for most village activities and is ideal for wedding receptions, birthday parties and celebrations etc. It is well equipped with a range of lightweight tables and upholstered chairs.

All bookings must have a “designated responsible person” who is over 21 years of age. Teenage parties must be booked by parents.

The premises licensee can oversee a bar if one is needed (when available and to be negotiated separately) otherwise a Temporary Events Notice (TEN) will be required and we have 12 available per year.

No animal based functions allowed (but guide dogs are permitted).

The Village Hall in Newton-in-the-Isle is an ideal venue for almost every kind of gathering, including children’s parties, company presentations, club meetings, society lectures and fund raising events – all at an affordable price.

From the car park in Church Lane, steps or a gentle ramp lead into the entrance foyer and the main hall space, off which is a serving area and fully-equipped kitchen.

To the side of the building, a secure, fenced garden area provides an additional dimension to any special occasion whenever the weather permits.

Whittlesford Memorial Hall

Whittlesford Memorial Hall has two main rooms, one larger than the other, both served by a kitchen hatch between the rooms, which makes life easier for catering arrangements. There is also a stage useful for theatre productions. There is under floor heating in the main hall and air conditioning in the Millennium Room.

Harston Village Hall

Harston Village Hall is situated in the village of Harston just 8 miles from the centre of Cambridge and consists of a Main Hall, two Committee rooms and a kitchen. There is access for disabled visitors and ample parking.

The Hall is available for hire all year round to both regular groups and also one-off hires for meetings, wedding receptions, parties, dances, exhibitions and events. The main hall is approx 18m x 8m with a solid maple floor and a stage whilst the Large Committee room is approx 9m x 6m. Tables and chairs are available and the kitchen with fridge/freezer, microwave and double oven is shared by all users. We also have an audio system in the main hall which accepts bluetooth connections, a noise limiter system and projector screen in both rooms.

Huntingdon & Peterborough WI Centre

Huntingdon WI Centre is available to hire! We have two rooms available to hire, the main hall and the committee room, both including shared access to the kitchen and facilities. There is plenty of free on-site car parking available.

The main hall is a large, open room with direct access to the kitchen and a serving hatch. Large windows provide plenty of natural day light. Ideal for large groups or gatherings. Maximum capacity is 80 seated theatre style, 60 cabaret style and 40 boardroom style. The approximate size of this room is: 33ft x 22ft.

The committee room may be a better choice for smaller groups and gatherings. Maximum capacity is 30 seated theatre style, 25 cabaret style and 15 boardroom style. The approximate size of this room is: 22.5ft x 15ft.

Tables and chairs available for use in both rooms. One flipchart board available. Both rooms have shared access to the kitchen. The kitchen includes a fridge, freezer, dishwasher, oven and hob, hot water urn, kettles, crockery and cutlery. Accessible toilet on site. Plenty of free on-site car parking available.

Our office hours are 9am-1pm, Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. Hiring outside of these times will be subject to the keyholder fee. No availability: Thursday term-time (7.15pm – 10pm). We do not accept bookings for birthday parties.

Cotton Hall

The Cotton Hall in Girton is a versatile and welcoming venue, perfect for clubs, groups, meetings, and celebrations. With flexible facilities, it’s ideal for hosting everything from workshops, meetings to private parties.

There are a range of rooms available to hire or the whole building can be hired if needed. We have chairs and tables available for users. There are some kitchen facilities which are made available to hirers or their appointed external caterers.

As a registered charity our objectives relate to children and young people, therefore there are special prices for groups or events aimed at these target groups.

There is some free parking on the road immediately outside the Hall, and further free parking at the Pavilion car park (about 50m away).
