The modern, spacious Ickleton Village Hall is the ideal venue for family parties, wedding receptions and funeral teas as well as offering facilities for smaller groups and clubs to meet. It is also perfect for sports such as badminton and exercise classes.

The main hall can accommodate up to 150 and the meeting room 50. There is also a well-equipped recently refurbished kitchen and sports changing rooms are available. Chairs, tables, cutlery crockery and glasses are available for use at no extra charge. There is also a self-assembly stage available for use. Hirers should be aware that some facilities such as kitchen and toilet areas may occasionally need to be shared with other users.

With the exception of assistance dogs, no animals are permitted in the building.

Great Staughton Village Hall

Great Staughton Village Hall is the heart of the community and is well used by many clubs and societies. We have a seating limit of 120 persons in our main hall which is 30m x 20m. We also have a smaller room that is 20m x 5m with a full sized snooker table. There is a newly fitted kitchen and a further small committee room for meetings of up to 10 people.

Helpston & Etton Village Hall

Helpston Village Hall is situated on the main road in the pretty Cambridgeshire village of Helpston. Originally a First World War wooden billeting hut, it has served the local community extremely well for over 100 years. It has a wooden stage with full curtains and a large hall which can seat 100 people. There is a well equipped kitchen with two ovens, two fridges and a dishwasher. There is wi-fi in the hall. What the hall lacks in ‘mod-cons’ it makes up for with its charm and character!

Whilst the hall does not have its own parking, on-street parking is available outside the hall for some cars and there are several other on-street parking areas nearby.

Queens Park Hall

The Queens Park Hall is a bright, airy, modern facility that can be used for a number of activities. The hall can be used for various regular activities such as group meetings, slimming clubs, exercise classes, pre-schooler activites, crafting groups, photography, prayer groups and collective worship. It is also a lovely venue for parties as well as baby showers and receptions following christening/baptisms/baby naming ceremonies.

Eversden Village Hall

Our historic hall is in the Cambridge countryside in the picturesque village of Great Eversden, Cambridge, which is approximately 7 miles south-west of Cambridge. There are good links to the A505, A11 and M11.

Inside the hall it is spacious and light with a high ceiling, balcony area, and a stage which you can decorate as you wish.

The Hall has capacity for 100 people. In dining format, the main hall can seat 80 people.

Hiring includes exclusive access to the building, and includes the use of our wi-fi, sound system with Bluetooth, tables, chairs, and our moveable bar. White crockery, glassware cutlery & more is provided for up to 100 guest place-settings. We have white tablecloths you can hire.

We have 4 sets of indoor festoon lights, and a set of fairy lights that look pretty wrapped around the balcony rails (already in place in the hall). We have 3 sets of outdoor fairy lights you can use. Please note that the woodwork on the walls and the stage is now in a light cream colour that matches the walls and provides a better backdrop for your decor and photos.

The kitchen is commercial and includes a commercial dishwasher, a new range style cooker with induction hob, new microwave, large fridge, and a small freezer.

We have a premises licence which allows you to provide your own drinks, and set up your own non-paying bar facility with no corkage fee. If you want to sell alcohol, you will need prior agreement from us and you will need to apply for a Temporary Event Notice (we can help you with that).

We have a music licence until 12pm, meaning that you can book a band to play, or a DJ. Or you can choose to be your own DJ with your own playlist.

There are 30 parking spaces: 4 spaces suitable for disabled parking at the front of the Hall, 9 in the carpark, and 17 in the signposted overflow parking area (grassed area).

The North Cambridgeshire Training Centre is based in Chatteris and serves the local community, offering a wide range of training opportunities for all. The centre is bright and airy, a state-of-the-art building. Each classroom offers a smart board, white board, tables and chairs. There is ample parking at the centre including two electric charging points. The centre is fully accessible with disabled parking bays and a lift to the first floor. We can provide refreshments at the centre which are chargeable however you are welcome to provide your own refreshments.

Coveney Village Hall

Coveney Village Hall is one of the very few amenities in the small but pretty village of Coveney. It provides social and recreational facilities to all parishioners and to hirers from further afield. The hall also acts as a community access point and has wi-fi. The hall is adjacent to the children’s play area and multi use games area. The hall is regularly hired for meetings, quiz nights, soup lunches, coffee mornings, bingo and children’s parties and is licensed for live music. The hall has a licensed, staffed, bar which may be booked for an additional fee.

Little Paxton Community Hub

Little Paxton Hub has all the facilities to welcome any group, large or small, providing excellent access for all including on-site parking. There is complimentary wi-fi throughout the building and a fully equipped kitchen. The adjoining field is also available for sports events.

Our rooms range in size and the main hall can accommodate up to 100 people and is suitable for larger events and classes. Children especially love the big space, and the adjacent kitchen which is included in the hire cost makes catering easy. Our two meeting rooms can accommodate up to 30 people when joined, with the sliding partition open, making them ideal for medium size meetings or smaller classes. Individually they can accommodate up to 10 people comfortably and are great for small groups.

Our cafeteria can seat up to 16 people around four tables. Baby chairs are also available. The kitchen which is adjacent to the café, is well equipped for self-catering having a fridge, dishwasher, cooker, kettles, a hot water urn, cutlery and crockery. Hire charges are inclusive of the use of chairs and tables, and audio visual and sound equipment.
