Buckden Village Hall offers a main hall with stage and wooden floor which is perfect for weddings, parties, dances, theatre, sports classes, dog training, pantomime and larger meetings. The high ceilings and windows add an airy feeling, and a marquee can be hung for weddings and special events (please see our website for photos of events). The main hall also has a licensed bar facility (via the Village Club) and fully equipped kitchen.
There are three additional function rooms of various sizes that can be booked individually or as part of a package hire (with or without the main hall) to offer maximum flexibility. Each room has access to its own set of toilets and separate entrances if required. The largest meeting room has direct access to the fully equipped kitchen; other meeting rooms are supplied with urns and cups. The two largest meeting rooms are equipped with a rolldown screen for projection (projector can be hired for a small fee). There is a large stage and backstage area. Stage lighting can be hung from the rafters.
We have an experienced staff of three who can help with all your hire needs. We regularly host corporate training bookings, exercise classes, dog training, NHS clinic and blood bank, parish council meetings and theatre productions as well as celebrations such as weddings, wakes, children’s parties and birthday dances. Our Google ratings are consistently ranked 4.7/5.0.
The Village Hall is set in 11 acres of open green space with playing fields, nature walks, children’s playground open to the public. A members’ club for tennis, bowls, cricket and football is on site with use of a fully equipped sports pavilion with kitchen and showers.
The Hall is readily accessible, right off the A1 motorway between Huntingdon and St Neots, 3 miles south of the A14 junction.

Residents of Buckden are eligible for residents' reduction. Other reduced rates for charitable groups are considered on a case by case basis. Larger bookings are negotiable.
