<p>Littleport Village Hall is a great asset to the local community. It is a versatile hall which has two rooms available for hire. The rooms can be hired separately, or both together.</p>



<p><br>The Main Hall is a large bright area with its own fully fitted kitchen and bar. There is a large stage area with a sound and light system. Chairs and tables are included in the hire. The capacity of the main hall is approximately 250 people.<br></p>



<p>The Day Centre is a smaller room which can hold approximately 31 people. There are chairs and tables available to use and access to a small kitchen.<br></p>



<p>There is a small car park located to the rear of the building. Please note, this is only accessible via the rear door. There is limited on-street parking available to the front of the building.<br></p>



<p>Both rooms have Wifi available.<br></p>



<p>The hall can be hired for a range of activities such as classes, parties, weddings, conferences, theatre productions and community groups.<br></p>



<p>There is disabled access to the front of the hall and there is a foldable ramp for the rear of the hall. There are toilets which also have disabled access.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Dating from Queen Victoria&#8217;s reign, our beautiful old hall has been fully modernised over the years. Located in the centre of the village with plenty of parking, it is available for hire by the day or by the hour.</p>
<p>The hall operates as a charity (registered number 1173591) run by volunteer trustees from the village. The charity&#8217;s sole purpose is to provide and maintain the hall and all profits are used to this end. If you would like to know more about the Charity or would like to become involved, see the Charity page.</p>
<p>The hall has excellent modern facilities, efficient heating, comfy chairs, easy to put up tables, and the kitchen is clean and easy to use. There is full disabled access with disabled toilets. The Hall has free WiFi available.</p>
<p>Hire charges are very competitive and include use of the chairs, tables, kitchen equipment and the audio visual system.</p>
<p>If you live in Wicken, Padney or Upware there are generous discounts on the hire charges.</p>
<p>The Hall provides the following facilities:</p>
<ul>
<li>A large dance or activity area with a polished wooden floor. There is the option to erect a portable stage if required for an additional fee.</li>
<li>Audio visual system that can play music or DVDs</li>
<li>Soft seated chairs and a large selection of tables.</li>
<li>​A fully equipped kitchen with cooker, industrial dish washer and microwave.</li>
<li>A separate smaller room for meetings or smaller groups.</li>
<li>A bar area with plenty of glassware, tea/coffee mugs, optics, fridge space and a water heater</li>
<li>A small lawned garden area suitable for BBQs, etc.</li>
</ul>
<p>The Hall is fully licensed for music, entertainment and the sale of alcohol.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Little Paxton Hub has all the facilities to welcome any group, large or small, providing excellent access for all including on-site parking. There is complimentary wi-fi throughout the building and a fully equipped kitchen. The adjoining field is also available for sports events.</p>
<p>Our rooms range in size and the main hall can accommodate up to 100 people and is suitable for larger events and classes. Children especially love the big space, and the adjacent kitchen which is included in the hire cost makes catering easy. Our two meeting rooms can accommodate up to 30 people when joined, with the sliding partition open, making them ideal for medium size meetings or smaller classes. Individually they can accommodate up to 10 people comfortably and are great for small groups.</p>
<p>Our cafeteria can seat up to 16 people around four tables. Baby chairs are also available. The kitchen which is adjacent to the café, is well equipped for self-catering having a fridge, dishwasher, cooker, kettles, a hot water urn, cutlery and crockery. Hire charges are inclusive of the use of chairs and tables, and audio visual and sound equipment.</p>

										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>The  modern and stylish hall at Castle Camps was part-funded by the National Lottery and built in 2001. There is a large hall with a curtained stage at one end and a large kitchen and servery at the other, plus a smaller meeting room with a bar. It is the venue for most village activities and is ideal for wedding receptions, birthday parties and celebrations etc. It is well equipped  with a range of lightweight tables and upholstered chairs.</p>
<p>All bookings must have a &#8220;designated responsible person&#8221; who is over 21 years of age. Teenage parties must be booked by parents.</p>
<p>The premises licensee can oversee a bar if one is needed (when available and to be negotiated separately) otherwise a Temporary Events Notice (TEN) will be required and we have 12 available per year.</p>
<p>No animal based functions allowed (but guide dogs are permitted).</p>

<p>It offers the ideal venue for weekend celebration parties with private well stocked bar and is also suitable for daytime children&#8217;s parties. The venue is also suitable for conferences for small and larger groups with audio-visual equipment included. Refreshments are served in the comfortable upstairs lounge (or balconies in summer). Light lunches also available. Wake/funeral reception packages are available with a staffed bar and refreshments if required (or you can self cater). There are some slots available for weekly classes or clubs.</p>

With high ceilings and plenty of room to spread out it is great for a variety of larger gatherings and activities that need a bit more space. There is a kitchen off the hall with a serving hatch as well as an on-site car park with room for plenty of cars.</p>
