Ely Scout Centre

Ely Scout Centre has a single rectangular room with high level windows and velux roof windows which give plenty of natural light and ventilation. The hall is ideal for interest groups, AGMs, training courses, simple meetings and children’s parties with tables and chairs to seat up to 50 people. It is located next to Ely St John’s park which has a children’s playground. The hall itself benefits from 5G hub wifi (200mbps internet), and we can loan a freestanding data projector and pull-up projection screen if required. There are kitchen facilities with mugs, kettles, cutlery etc, and clean toilet facilities which include baby changing facilities. The entire building is level access with no steps. Facilities are basic but well looked after. We are always fully booked in weekday evenings for Cub & Scout groups etc, but generally available during the day for bookings and all weekends. Our volunteers are positive and helpful and we’re keen to offer our hall to the local community at an accessible price.

Offord Village Hall

Offord Village Hall is a popular venue serving the residents and neighbourhood of Offord Cluny and Offord Darcy and surrounding areas. The two villages lie close to the river Great Ouse in Cambridgeshire, between Huntingdon and St Neots.

The hall hosts a wide range of local groups and clubs as well as providing facilities for private parties and functions.

Ploughman Hall

The Ploughman Hall in Willingham is consists of two spaces which can be hired for a range of activities. There is a large hall (the main hall) and a smaller two-level space (the side hall).

If you are looking for a venue for your Child’s party, wedding reception of organisation meeting or somewhere for your sport/fitness group to meet then the Ploughman hall can provide a choice of facilities.

The large main hall area is suitable for parties and sports functions which can be hired with or without a fully equipped kitchen. The main hall is fully accessible.

The side hall area is split over two levels with a kitchen on the ground floor. The ground floor is fully accessible but the first floor accessible by a staircase only.

The hall has some green space round the edge of the hall and parking.

The hall is situated next to the QEII field which hosts our children’s playground and play area.

Queens Park Hall

The Queens Park Hall is a bright, airy, modern facility that can be used for a number of activities. The hall can be used for various regular activities such as group meetings, slimming clubs, exercise classes, pre-schooler activites, crafting groups, photography, prayer groups and collective worship. It is also a lovely venue for parties as well as baby showers and receptions following christening/baptisms/baby naming ceremonies.

St Philip’s Church Centre

St Philip’s Church offers 9 different spaces to hire, suitable for a wide range of activities from large performances to small meetings, from classroom sessions to games and fitness groups. The 100 year old building was extensively renovated in 2012 and is fully wheelchair accessible with light, bright rooms. The Church is located on Mill Road in Cambridge and is 15 minute walk to the train station. There is a bus stop opposite, cycle racks and 4 parking spaces, with further free parking on the street.

Ross Street Community Centre

Ross Street Community Centre is based in the heart of the Romsey Area, located just off Mill Road which is a bustling, multi-cultured high street, bursting at the seams with authentic cuisines from all over the world, charity shops you can find almost anything in, and a coffee shop every 5 yards!

Our centre is able to offer a small car park available to our users of the centre, for no charge…that’s right! Free parking in Cambridge!

We also have designated disabled parking, Disabled access into the building with automatic doors and an easy access toilet.

Ross Street is managed by The Romsey Mill Trust on behalf of Cambridge City Council. The Romsey Mill Trust is a charity that works closely with families, and young people in Cambridge. They provide essential support and programmes for young parents/parents-to-be, children who have been diagnosed with autism, young people overcoming challenges in their lives, as well as other support. Money raised through our room hire at Ross Street Community Centre directly helps us to continue the outstanding work we currently deliver throughout Cambridgeshire.

Kingston Village Hall

Kingston Village Hall has been fully refurbished and modernised throughout and comprises two adjoining halls. The larger is a Victorian school room and the smaller is newly-built with a toilet block. Between the two is a well-equipped kitchen and serving area for both halls. Chairs, tables, china, glassware and cutlery are provided. The smaller hall has sofas and armchairs seating 16, and a large screen TV. The large hall has a drop-down screen and projector and is suitable for business and training, as well as social events. The whole building is hired as one unit and the cost per hour is for both halls, with different daytime and evening rates. There is parking for eight cars, with room for 15 to 20 additional cars on the roadside near the hall. Please ask for details, as some of the roadsides are unsuitable. The premises has alcohol, film and music licences.

Kingston is an atttractive, unspoilt village, with a medieval church, surrounded by beautiful countryside accessible by numerous footpaths. Thus, the hall provides an attractive venue for ramblers and other groups, such as artists, interested in the local countryside. The outdoor area is fenced and suitable for children’s parties and open-air events.
