William Collyn Community Centre
The William Collyn Community Centre is a purpose-designed facility in the heart of Girton, available for use by individuals, village groups and societies and outside organisations and companies.
Provided and run for the community by Girton Town Charity, the Centre has been named after the founder of the almshouse charity and designed to provide an attractive and flexible space for a wide range of uses, and sizes of group.
The Centre’s spacious Hall is suitable for a wide range of activities and events including social gatherings, wellbeing support and exercise classes, children, young people’s and older people’s clubs, dance and performance arts, training and conferences. The Hall has glass doors, opening onto a terrace which overlooks the Bowls Club next door.
Free Wi-Fi. Fully-automated black-out blinds. The commercial style kitchen has two hatches opening into the Hall.Storage lockers available for regular hirers. Centre staff are on site at all times to provide support with bookings.
