Melbourn Hub is a modern purpose-built facility serving Melbourn and the wider community of South Cambridgeshire. It is fully serviced with paid staff present during opening hours. It provides:
– A community cafe and restaurant offering a home cooked menu for all day dining between 9.00am and 4.00pm
– A Community Library, open between 2.00 and 4.00pm weekdays and 10.00am to 2,00pm on Saturdays
– Four state of the art meeting rooms with secure digital communications, integrated screens and projectors all inclusive with room hire rates
– Meeting room clients can use the onsite catering facilities for in-room dining or alternatively eat in the Atrium restaurant. The restaurant is licensed to serve alcohol.
– Off site and takeaway catering is also welcomed. Free public car parking only 25m from the building.
The building has two disability parking spaces on site. Plentiful free parking is immediately opposite the Hub facility.
Melbourn Hub offers daily medical services operated in conjunction with local GP surgeries, together with frequent access to counselling (family, mental health, dementia, Citizens Advice etc).

Facilities
The Hub has four meeting rooms:
• Norbury (seats 8-12 people)
• Bennett (seats 10-16 people)
• Dickens (seats 12-18 people)
• Austen (seats 16-36 people)
Hire rates for the different rooms range from £15 - £23 per hour.
Reduced rates are available for local authorities, charities, local community groups, socially facing organisations and all who are essentially not-for-profit. Rates on application but at roughly 60% of the listed commercial rates.
