Ross Street Community Centre is based in the heart of the Romsey Area, located just off Mill Road which is a bustling, multi-cultured high street, bursting at the seams with authentic cuisines from all over the world, charity shops you can find almost anything in, and a coffee shop every 5 yards!

Our centre is able to offer a small car park available to our users of the centre, for no charge…that’s right! Free parking in Cambridge!

We also have designated disabled parking, Disabled access into the building with automatic doors and an easy access toilet.

Ross Street is managed by The Romsey Mill Trust on behalf of Cambridge City Council. The Romsey Mill Trust is a charity that works closely with families, and young people in Cambridge. They provide essential support and programmes for young parents/parents-to-be, children who have been diagnosed with autism, young people overcoming challenges in their lives, as well as other support. Money raised through our room hire at Ross Street Community Centre directly helps us to continue the outstanding work we currently deliver throughout Cambridgeshire.

Facilities

We have 3 rooms available;

- Our Main Hall which is approximately 11.6 x 7.3 metres for up to 75 people.

This is a large open space with plenty of windows to allow the natural sunlight in, it is a very bright hall with a high wooden beamed ceiling. Hire of the hall also includes use of the brand new kitchen. The hall has its own toilets and baby changing area. The Main Hall has a new built-in projector and screen available to use via a HDMI cable.

- Our Community Room which is approximately 10.2 x 6.1 metres for up to 45 people.

This is quite a large open space, with the added benefit of having an enclosed courtyard. It also comes equipped with a fitted kitchen and safety gates to ensure no children can enter the kitchen. Private toilets just for this rooms use are also connected to the hall ensuring no children have to leave the room at any time. This room works very well for children's birthday parties and is used during the week by our pre-school.

- Our Meeting Room which is approximately 4.9 x 4.8 metres for up to 15 people.

This room is ideal for any type of formal meeting, counselling sessions, or small groups rehearsing acting scenes etc. It has a great splash of colour and access to a shared kitchen.

We offer lower rates of hire for free access local groups, starting from £13.65 per hour in our Hall.
